Event Type

Please join us on 8 April, 1-3pm in Owen-1025-Level 10, city campus, for a workshop that will explore the critical role of ethics in scientific publishing and the responsibilities that come with becoming an author. While publication can enhance a researcher’s recognition, it also demands vigilance in adhering to ethical standards. Participants will learn how even unintentional mistakes can damage reputations, making it challenging to regain trust from peers. We will emphasise that the responsibility for maintaining ethical practices extends beyond authors to include reviewers, editors, and publishers.

Join us to gain valuable insights and strategies for navigating the ethical landscape of scientific publishing, ensuring your work contributes positively to the research community.
