SUMMARY:WRDTP: 14th EMCA Doctoral Network meeting
DESCRIPTION:Keynote speakers: Hannah Ditchfield (University of Sheffield)
  and Rose Rickford (University of Surrey)\nWe are pleased to announce th
 e 14th EMCA Doctoral Network meeting will be held in Sheffield in early Se
 ptember. The event will be hosted in the Wave\, 2 Whitham Road\, Sheffiel
 d\, S10 2AH.\nThe meetings aim to establish\, build and support a doctoral
  research community working in the fields of ethnomethodology and conversa
 tion(al) analysis across the UK and Europe. Each meeting offers a mix of w
 orkshops\, data sessions\, reading groups\, practical sessions and present
 ations. The idea is to provide an informal environment for students to com
 e and share ideas\, ask questions\, showcase research\, and so on. We want
  to encourage and facilitate opportunities to socialise and network with y
 our EMCA peers.\nThe event is open to doctoral students only. Lunch and re
 freshments will be provided on both days\, along with accommodation for Mo
 nday night (for those who need it) and breakfast on Tuesday. As places are
  limited\, prior registration is essential. If you would like to attend\,
