DESCRIPTION:This session is open to PGR Students in their last year of stud
 y.\n\nViva Survivor is a three-hour Zoom session designed to help PGRs fe
 el well-prepared for their viva. To date\, it’s been delivered to over 7
 000 PhD candidates at universities around the UK. By the end of a session 
 participants will have:\n\n 	identified what examiners are looking for whe
 n they examine a thesis\;\n 	discussed the many ways that others can suppo
 rt preparation\;\n 	explored valuable viva preparation methods\;\n 	establ
 ished realistic expectations for the viva\;\n 	discussed common questions 
 about the PhD viva.\n\nParticipants will have opportunities to ask any and
  all questions\, so that everyone can finish the session unburdened and re
 ady for the viva. Participants are encouraged to approach their viva with 
 confidence\, and this is the main message of the session: Viva Survivor 
 aims to help with the final steps of the journey now that the hard work is
