Event Type

On Thursday 5th June, Sarah Johnson-Mitchell, Jane Wright in the Research and Innovation Services, and Prof Chris Sammon (Head of RIKE EBE and a long standing Member of the EPSRC Peer Review College) are planning to hold a surgery session on New Investigator Awards (NIA).

NIA’s are UKRI funded based grants, aimed at supporting Early Career Researchers in their career and research paths – links below.    On the 5th June, Sarah, Jane and Chris, will be available for exploratory conversations on what your NIA could entail, where you are in your research and how you see an NIA submission benefiting your own career and research plan, which funder to target, and how we can support and develop your submission via peer review, and possible external grant support.

This will be a generic session available for all.
