The RIS Impact Team hosts regular Impact Drop-in Sessions either in-person or in virtual format via MS Teams. Each session is open for 90 minutes, and you are welcome to stay for the full session, or drop-in for a short while to chat through a quick query.

Ways in which you might want to use this time could include:

  • Talking through the ways in which your research might benefit others
  • Exploring who could benefit from your research
  • Considering how you might engage with others beyond academia
  • Finding about how your research could be used in parliament
  • Time set aside to create an impact plan
  • Evaluating the impact of your research
  • Planning your evidence collection
  • Thinking about how best to corroborate your impact claims
  • Developing a case study for REF2029
