Sheffield Hallam University is keen to support talented and emerging Early Career Researchers (ECRs) to apply to the Future Leaders Fellowships (FLF) scheme. The UKRI call is due to open on the 2nd February 2026, with a submission deadline in June 2026.
As the scheme is prestigious and highly competitive, an internal selection process will be used to identify and support the most suitable applicants. Participation in this internal process is a mandatory requirement for all prospective applicants.
This webinar will give potential applicants an introduction and overview of the scheme and will also provide further information on:

- in-depth run-through of application process and documentation
- key dates information on applying to the scheme
- host organisation requirements
- how applications are assessed
- experience from a successful applicant
