SUMMARY:1-Day Personal Development Workshop for Racially Minoritised PGRs
DESCRIPTION:Eligibility: This workshop is exclusively for researchers fro
 m racially minoritised groups. It aims to provide a supportive environmen
 t where PGR can share experiences\, build networks\, and gain tailored per
 sonal development opportunities.\n\nThis 1-Day intensive workshop deliver
 ed in partnership with GRIT Breakthrough Programmes is designed to empowe
 r you with the confidence and the sense of belonging to become powerful a
 dvocates for your researcher journey. Through the workshop you will tap in
 to your sense of agency\, leadership\, resilience and self-efficacy so tha
 t new goals become possible.\n\nCritically\, the Grit approach starts with
  you – it gives you a rare opportunity to examine your operating syste
 m and some of the limits or blind spots that may impact the way you see yo
 urself\, your education and what is possible.\n\nBy participating you hav
 e the opportunity to:\n- Explore your identity through the lens of race\, 
 and what this means for you as a researcher within the higher education sp
 ace\n- Uncover your strengths and areas for growth through innovative coac
 hing models and practices\n- Connect to your community of postgraduate res
 earch students with similar lived experiences\n- Reflect on your current c
 hallenges\, and explore new approaches to overcome them\n- Delve into your
  sense of purpose and identity\n- Gain exclusive access to paid opportunit
 ies through the Equity in Doctoral Education through Partnership and Innov
 ation programme.\n\nDuring the workshop\, there will be lots of debate\, d
 iscussion and questioning around your experience as postgraduate researche
 rs\, how your identity intersects with your education and how can you use
