What is RIDA?

The Researcher and Innovator Development Academy (RIDA) is a major initiative, that forms an integral part of our research and innovation strategy, to design and deliver a University-wide development academy. RIDA’s aim is to establish a coordinated development offer by bringing together and expanding upon the excellent work already being done across the University to support our current and future researchers and innovators.

Why are we doing this?

To support the continued and sustainable growth in research and innovation capability and capacity at Sheffield Hallam University.

How does RIDA help?

RIDA develops our researchers and innovators by providing tailored opportunities for training and development in one place that are easily accessible by everyone no matter the stage of their research and innovation career.

Who is it for?

The training and development opportunities provided by RIDA are for current and aspiring researchers and innovators at any point in their journey. This also includes professional services staff who engage in activity and development linked to research and innovation.
